Jennifer Mayo
Jennifer has a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies (Education) from Texas A&M University at College Station (Class of ‘99) and an MS in Information Studies (Library Science) from the University of Texas at Austin. She also holds a certificate in Independent Educational Consulting from the University of California at Irvine and is a member of HECA, the Higher Education Consultants Association. Jennifer has served as an educator for 16 years, as the librarian at Round Rock Christian Academy and as a teacher for RRISD. She actively participates in continuing education through the college consulting industry, visits colleges, and stays informed of trends in higher education.
She lives in Round Rock, TX with her husband, Lee, and has one daughter, a Public Health major at Texas A&M (Class of ‘27), and another daughter, a high school senior who will soon be attending Texas A&M Mays Business School (Class of ‘29). Working through the college admissions process over the last few years with her girls has furthered her the desire to empower students to choose their best fit university by understanding who they are, where they have come from, and what they can accomplish during college and beyond.
When not teaching and working with college-bound students, Jennifer can be found reading almost anything she can get her hands on, being actively involved in her church, or planning her family’s next National Park road trip adventure.
